
- Switch to whole grains. These include brown rice, barley, millet, and whole wheat.
- Avoid eating white bread .
- Add lentils, black-eyed peas, lima beans, great northern beans and chickpeas to your diet.
- avoid cooked food as it reduces the fibre content ,eat more raw vegetables.
- Eat fresh fruit to your diet.
- Eat baked products made with wheat or oat bran
